What does it mean to be an ECOS volunteer?

ECOS is the organization that supports and guides migrants in the U.S.

Volunteering allows you to contribute to ECOS’s mission, support asylum seekers with essential resources, and collaborate with other volunteers to provide support to migrants in any way possible.

Volunteering is an opportunity to get involved and help integrate migrants into society.

How do I apply to volunteer at ECOS?

Complete our online application from a phone or computer. You’ll receive a text message with the results once your application is reviewed. There’s no fee to volunteer.

Does volunteering with ECOS affect my immigration case?

It shouldn’t negatively affect your case. If you have any concerns, please contact ECOS.

Does it cost money to volunteer at ECOS?

No, volunteering is completely free.

Will ECOS share my information with third parties?

No, volunteer information is kept confidential.

Can I fill out the application in another language?

Currently, it is only available in English and Spanish.

Can I contact ECOS by phone?

Due to the high volume of requests, this is not possible. Email is recommended for inquiries.

What is the volunteer card?

This is proof of your volunteer participation, which you’ll receive via text message. You can print it, download it, or take a screenshot.
